About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Loading Shovel Driver to join a busy recycling plant based in Chorley.

As a Loading Shovel Driver, you will be responsible for operating loading shovel equipment to handle and transport materials within the plant. You will ensure the smooth running of the recycling operations, always maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the loading shovel to load and move materials around the site.
  • Ensure the correct handling and storage of recyclable materials.
  • Conduct regular checks on machinery to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices on site.
  • Maintain accurate records of material handling and movement.
  • Assist in general plant operations when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a loading shovel.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to take direction and following instruction.
  • Follow all Company policies, procedures, and legislations
  • Hold a valid CPCS OR NPORS

Job Type: Temp-Perm.

Contract Length: 3 Months.

Expected Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

6am-2pm
