Teacher and Role Information:

The ideal candidate will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that focus pupils on class work and engage them in school. You will need to have an excellent understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and will be able to adapt this to varying ability levels in the class. The school is looking for a Year 5 Teacher who can understand how young pupils develop, be able to plan provision to meet the needs of a range of learners, and work hard so every pupil reaches the best of their ability.

This is a dynamic and welcoming community with a dynamic Key Stage 2 Department which is supported by a team of experienced Teaching Assistant and fully qualified teachers. The school offers a welcoming and supportive team, eager to learn pupils who are well behaved for the most part and an excellent professional development package for teachers at all career stages.

This is a job share post, which requires someone who can effectively work alongside the current staff member, in planning and assessing pupils progression.
