Our client, a leading international manufacturing company, are looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient QA Controller to join their Site Technical Team.

Reporting to the Quality & Hygiene Manager, responsibilities will be wide and varied to ensure that the company complies with the quality requirements of customers and relevant third-party agencies and meet its legal obligation in terms of current and impending food legislation and food safety. This could be everything from raw material intake, maintenance of packing specifications, and investigation of customer complaints, carrying out internal audits and assisting with external audits. You will be working in collaboration with the site leadership team, production and packing teams, site technical team and group functions (i.e., Packaging Development, Commercial).

As an ideal applicant you be self-motivated, have a high level of communication alongside a strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills, a background within the manufacturing sector and food industry experience would be desirable together with a good understanding of internal auditing, food hygiene and HACCP.
