Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, Chorley, Lancashire

Unite People is a Civil Engineering Recruitment Specialist. Our client has secured a number of infrastructure projects in the North West. Due to the variety of projects on site and in the pipeline. Our client can accommodate either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, to be part of the existing commercial team. The successful candidate will be predominantly site based, with some flexible working

The Opportunity

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be part of a larger commercial team. Reporting to a Commercial Manager and ultimately a Commercial Director

Day to day

  • Identification and procurement of sub-contractors
  • Issuing sub-contractor payment certificates
  • Maintaining commercial controls on projects
  • Cost reporting and cost to complete
  • Close liaison and collaborative team work with the project team and supply chain
  • Attend meetings with supply chain and internal teams

You

  • A relevant qualification in the Construction/ Civil Engineering industry preferred
  • Demonstrable working knowledge in a Quantity Surveyor capacity
  • Civil Engineering project experience
