Our client are an award-winning leader in the UK property and construction industry specialising in construction, civil engineering, facilities management, and property development.
They are recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join their business. You'll be working on civil engineering projects ranging from 100k to 15m across all sectors of the industry.
As a Senior Estimator, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop analytical estimates from first principles, incorporating all necessary data to create competitive tender bids.
- Evaluate tender documents to determine the scope of work and accurately measure quantities as needed.
- Prepare detailed inquiries for subcontractors and other resources.
- Use all available tender information to eliminate ambiguities.
- Delegate tasks to other members of the estimating team as needed.
- Ensure bids are submitted professionally, addressing all aspects of the tender.
