Working for an established provider of care and support to adults with severe learning disability and complex needs, we are seeking a skilled Deputy Manager to support the management of multi site supported tenancies.


The role and key duties:

  • Support the Manager in all aspects of managing the multi site services for adults who may have a profound learning disability and/or physical disability
  • Manage and work with the care team to ensure the smooth running of the services including ensure all staff training is up to date, care planning, staff rotas
  • Adhere to all internal policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation in line with CQC
  • Arrange and attend meetings where needed and keep up to date with dealing with any safeguarding and risk assessment needs.

The ideal person for the role:

  • You will ideally have relevant experience of managing and supporting to manage teams within a similar setting
  • You will have sound knowledge of supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs and have a good understanding of Dols and the Capacity Act.
  • Your ability to support and lead teams in a supporting manner will be key as will your ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Your approach will be person-centred and you will have strong management and leadership qualities together with a flexible working approach and passion for the role.
  • Ideally you will hold the NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management or be working towards it.
  • Car driver is essential with access to own vehicle and business insurance.
  • Monday to Friday role predominantly with some flexibility where required.
