Our organisation is committed to delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team.

Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time on-site Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team in Chorley. As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to the children in our care, managing daily activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Manage daily activities, including planning and coordinating outings, therapies, and educational activities
  • Implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and well-being
  • Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing residential care and support to children and young people
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Empathy and understanding towards children in care
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) qualification or equivalent experience
