We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our brand-new Supported Living Service in Chorley! This is a full-time role offering 37.5 hours per week, with pay at £13.50 per hour and an additional £55 for sleep-ins. With varied shifts from 3 to 13 hours, including days, waking nights, and sleep-ins, you’ll need to be flexible, but we make it easy with rotas set 4 weeks in advance.

Our service is specially designed to support adults living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and/or autism. We’re all about helping people develop their skills, grow their independence, and live fulfilling lives. And that’s where you come in!

Who are we looking for?

We want someone who’s got experience in a similar setting and knows the ins and outs of mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism. You’ve been there, done that, and are ready to take on a Senior role. You’re a team player, you’ve got supervisory experience, and you’re excited about leading a team that makes a real impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team by ensuring the effective and efficient running of shifts.
  • Organise and coordinate risk assessments and support plans tailored to each individual.
  • Support the management team to maintain high standards of support work.
  • Supervise, manage, and mentor support workers, helping them deliver the best care possible.
  • Act as a role model, setting the standard for the team and offering guidance when needed.
