  • Responsibilities:

To supervise and lead staff teams providing day to day support to service users,Assisting the registered manager in general care/healthcare administration matters within the serviceThese will include:

    • arranging cover for staff holidays and other absences
    • involvement with individual care plans
    • involvement with individual health action plans
    • risk assessments
    • involvement in new service user admissions
    • involvement in service user review meetings
    • being part of an 'on call’ rota for the service
    • dealing with any complaints in line with policy and procedure in the absence of the Manager/Deputy, taking details and referring upwards when required

Requirements:

  • driving license and access to a car is preferred but not essential
  • Must have some experience of stepping in as senior support worker or worked at senior level
  • Hourly rate is based on NVQ 2 or 3
  • Must be flexible to work on flexible rolling rota every 2 week
  • Work every other weekend
