SEN Teaching Assistant - Chorley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work at an excellent primary school near Chorley.

You will be required to support pupils 1-1 and occasionally in small groups.

Position Details:

  • Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Type of work: Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time only

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable
  • Up to date Safeguarding qualification within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Team Teach training would be highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Effective communication with teachers to track student's progress

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
