Prospero Teaching is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Chorley to support pupils both 1-1 and in small groups.
The position is full-time, with hours from 8:20am to 3:20pm, starting in January 2025 and continuing on an ongoing basis.
Candidates must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, and experience with Safeguarding and Team Teach training is highly desirable.
The minimum pay rate is £90 per day, depending on experience, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Chorley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work at an excellent primary school near Chorley.

You will be required to support pupils 1-1 and occasionally in small groups.

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable
Up to date Safeguarding qualification within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
Team Teach training would be highly desirable
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
Effective communication with teachers to track student's progress

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
