Our client is looking for an experienced practitioner to join their school based in Chorley, as their Specialist Speech and Language Therapist on a permanent basis.

Their school is an independent specialist school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum disorders and associated complex learning needs, challenging behaviour and /or associated anxiety.

This role involves providing Speech and Language Therapy across education and residential services for young people, primarily with autism and varying needs. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, including OT and behavioral analysts, you will offer holistic, integrated support and contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working with young people with Autism & severe learning disabilities.
