Your new company

This privately owned group has enjoyed a rich history, with significant growth and change in its recent history, now with over 40 legal entities across a variety of sectors including property, hospitality, agriculture and renewable energy. This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to take responsibility for the accounting for a number of those entities, working in a team alongside 2-3 other management accountants. They are located near Christchurch, and the role will be office based, with ample parking available in their beautiful countryside setting.Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for multiple entities and acting as a finance business partner to the operational management team overseeing those entities. Day to day you will be producing monthly management account pack, including timely forecasts and cashflow reporting. This role will require budget support and financial analysis for multiple entities regarding monthly actuals vs budget. You will also have a good understanding of intercompany accounting and VAT, and will be happy to support the team with other ad hoc finance tasks and projects as necessary. You will also work with the Finance Manager to help streamline processes and drive efficiencies across the finance team and the wider business.What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced accountant, used to producing monthly reporting for multiple entities and with a good knowledge of VAT. You will have good organisation, communication and Excel skills, and will be a self-motivated person who is able to work as part of a busy team.You could be qualified by experience or actively studying ACCA, ACA or CIMA to be considered.What you'll get in return
