Chief Commercial Officer - Dorset

After retirements and promotions, this company are looking for their next key person to focus on delivering the continued growth they have been experiencing over the last 20 years. Our client is agile, and innovative with a focus on both value and quality of the products they sell, giving the best known brands a run for their money.
The Chief Commercial Officer will be leading from the front, managing the three Commercial Directors across the business units, in addition to the strong relationships with UK and international grocery retailers. This role is both hands on and strategic. You will have autonomy while working in partnership with your other c-suite colleagues to continue drive the business to new heights.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve growth targets and align with business objectives.
- Manage full P&L responsibility for the Group, handling over £150m in international sales
- Collaborate on the company’s long-term growth strategy and present updates to the Board.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with key retailers and grocers while identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives to expand revenue streams and market share.
- Deliver against revenue, profitability, and growth targets, while setting and monitoring commercial KPIs across the group.
- Work closely with the finance team to optimise pricing, margins, and cost structures, ensuring sustainable financial management.
- Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and support to a team of approximately six people across the UK, Asia, and South Africa.
Minimum Responsibilities:
- Experience driving commercial strategy and managing over £50m worth of business
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Director, CCO, or similar role.
- Experience within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector is essential
- Tangible experience and results delivering on commercial growth
