Location: Bournemouth, UK (Hybrid Working Available)
About the Role: We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team for a major upcoming water project. You’ll support the Project Manager in delivering efficient plant designs and procurement strategies, ensuring projects move smoothly from design to commissioning. You'll be instrumental in keeping costs on track, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely delivery in line with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project costs to stay within budget.
• Submit payment applications and monthly forecasts on time.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support the project management strategy.
• Oversee contract programme progress, producing reports and updates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams on design and procurement.
• Contribute to construction completion and handover documentation.
• Evaluate innovative solutions, ensuring designs are safe and sustainable.
• Support risk and opportunity management monthly.
• Ensure continuous professional development and industry knowledge.

About You:
Essential:
• Strong engineering background with relevant qualifications (HNC minimum).
• Experience with various contract conditions, especially NEC.
• Supply chain experience and knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes.
• Familiarity with CDM and Health & Safety requirements.

• Professional qualification.
