Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a trend-focused, and commercial product business who are looking for a National Account Executive to join them.

In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to shadow two of the existing Account Managers, learning how the business goes about developing client relationships, strategy, and product management. As you grow with the business, you'll gradually take the reins, managing a portfolio of select clients with full autonomy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shadow two account managers in the team to understand the process of client management, project management and product development
  • Shadow your line manager to understand how new business is secured
  • Collaborate with the new product development team to bring product ideas to life for your clients
  • Manage your products with your accounts, ensuring feedback and visibility is maintained
  • Work alongside a pre-set sales strategy to achieve budgets
  • Analyse customer KPIs and targets, and review the performance
  • Share your ideas with the wider teams

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within an account management role or similar
  • Understanding of product costs, margins or the buying process would be desirable
  • Able to work autonomously while able to speak up when needing help
  • Proactive, and keen to learn
