In-House Legal - Hybrid - up to £70k

What you will be doing:

As an In-House Legal, you will oversee corporate company law, provide accountancy support to senior management, and offer reliable secretarial services to the board of directors. You will also manage corporate governance matters, Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), policies, contracts, and AGM and Board member communications. Your knowledge of copyright legislation, pensions, and decision-making abilities will be crucial to the role.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate law and commercial/property transactions, particularly in the acquisition or sale of property, land, and premises. You'll also be experienced in obtaining licenses and dealing with both residential and commercial property matters.


As In- House Legal you will have the skills and experience in the following:

Corporate Company Law Expertise: Proven experience in managing corporate governance, including handling board meetings, AGMs, compliance with statutory obligations, and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Property Law & Commercial Transactions: Strong background in handling residential and commercial property transactions, including buying and selling property, land acquisition, and obtaining necessary licenses.

Contract Management: Proficient in reviewing and negotiating contracts, advising on terms, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met, with experience working alongside external surveyors and legal professionals.

Planning Law & Litigation: Extensive experience with planning law, and commercial sector litigation, including managing legal disputes and representing the company in legal matters.

Corporate Governance: Ability to manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), oversee company policies, and ensure compliance with copyright and pensions legislation.

Communication & Decision-Making: Strong communication skills for liaising with board members, senior management, and external advisors, coupled with sound decision-making abilities in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Hours & Benefits: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm
