About the Role:

As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial advisers by providing comprehensive technical analysis and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial advice. You will liaise with clients, providers, and colleagues, so strong communication skills—both written and oral—are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full, end-to-end paraplanning support, including detailed technical analysis and preparation of client reports.
  • Assist financial planners in developing client-specific financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations on various financial products, including IHT Planning, CGT calculations, Trusts, DB pension transfers, and more.
  • Attend client and product provider meetings to enhance understanding and relationships.
  • Process new business to completion and maintain our back-office system (Intelligent Office).
  • Work closely with the Compliance Manager to resolve compliance issues and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Build and foster relationships with clients and team members, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
  • Interpret information and statistical data to support informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a paraplanning role within the financial services sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge to support financial planners with complex advice needs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
