Head of License Job in Dorset
Dovetail Recruitment are working closely with a long standing FMCG client who are recruiting for a new Head of License to join the team.
The role will be to manage the Licensed & Celebrity business, across four business units, with end to end management of licensees, ensuring they have the right license portfolio, spotting trends in the market so they stay ahead of the game.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Head of Licence:
- Manage all aspects of contracts: including royalties, terms, relationships, payments, renewals.
- Manage license portfolio existing and new.
- New licensing on boarding
- Manage commercial viability when on boarding new licenses.
- Attending all industry lead license trade shows
- Present trends and opportunities across all categories.
- Produce sales presentations on new and existing licenses. (from brand decks)
- Understanding the competition.
- Regular trade & in store visits.
- Cross functional collaboration across all departments
Minimum Requirements:
- Min 5 years in the licensing industry
- Able to negotiate strong contracts
- Experience within the FMCG industry
This Head of License position would suit candidates with a strong FMCG product background who have a good understanding of licensed products.
