Are you an experienced Designer with expertise in timber construction, looking to join a leading sustainable building manufacturer, where your skills in delivering efficient technical drawings will be rewarded with personal development courses, flexible working hours and a generous holiday allowance?

On offer is the opportunity for a days-based Monday to Friday role with the option to work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, that will look to enhance your skills through fully paid external courses. On top of this you will get to enjoy weekly Wednesday BBQ breakfasts and great team socials such as teambuilders, camping, sailing and Christmas parties.

This award-winning company has over twenty years of experience in building with sustainable methods and focus on the manufacturing and installation of structural insulated panels. They work on a wide range of projects across many industries from modular building, main contractor roles and high-end luxury beach lodges.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in timber construction, and has a passion for designing sustainable timber constructions, who is looking to progress themselves with excellent training opportunities.

The Role:

  • Working on projects of variable sizing and complexity
  • Produce detailed construction information suitable for workshop and site teams
  • Interpreting and producing technical drawings to maximise material efficiency, producing longevity
  • Liaising with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, Friday 9:00am-4:00pm

The Person:

  • Experience designing bespoke products and structures
  • Experience in design software such as Autodesk, Revit, and AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of UK building practices and build methods from foundations through to roof finishes
