Creative Designer Job in Christchurch (12-Month Contract)

Dovetail Recruitment are very pleased to be working with a thriving client based in Christchurch who has an exciting new opportunity for a Creative Designer to join their team! You’ll be working in a vibrant, fast-paced office environment alongside key partners in the business including Account Managers, Product Developers and Technical Managers to deliver creative projects for a wide range of clients.
This position provides an incredible opportunity to solidify your creative skillset and work with a huge range of products held in the UK’s most well-established and longest-standing grocers and retailers.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Creative Designer:
- Take ownership of projects from idea conception to artwork delivery under the guidance of the Design, Brand & Creative Manager
- Produce beautifully designed new product and packaging concept visuals
- Design of presentations for internal teams and new business pitches
- Art working designs and preparing files to send to printers/suppliers
- Maintain brand consistency across all Solent and licensed brands
- Assist the Product Development Managers with artwork approvals, to ensure accurate, consistent and well-designed products are delivered on time
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience with packaging design or designing print
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Able to work towards branding guidelines and style guides
- Driving licence
