We are recruiting for a Catering Maintenance Engineer for a long established company in Christchurch.

Hours: The role is working a 37.5 hour week between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday with a half an hour lunch break.

Salary: starts at£30,000 per annum but potentially negotiable depending on experience.

The 60 year old family run business is an industry leader in the supply and maintenance of commercial laundry and catering equipment, with extensive experience and a well-established reputation. They have become the leading suppliers and repair agents of equipmentto offshore, marine and onshore businesses, including but not limited to: Military and Domestic Vessels, Hotel and Leisure, Nursing Homes, Retirement homes, Local Authorities, NHS, Marinas and Holiday Parks.

The Company provides top level service and maintenance to all of their clients in the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas and has a very low staff turnover.

Duties will include: 

  • Service and maintenance of commercial catering equipment
  • High level of repair and service of equipment including Combi Ovens, Dishwashers, Fryers, Chargrills etc
  • On call, 1 week in 4
  • A proactive can-doattitude, with excellent attention to detail

Key Requirements:

  • Previous work experience within the constructions sector.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • CCCN1
  • COMCAT 1, 2, 3, 5
  • Electrically Competent
  • Full UK Driving License
  • LPG (desirable)
