Location: Dorset

Contract: Fulltime, Permanent (37 hours per week)

 

 

Overview

 

Seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with a strong aerospace background to join our team. This role involves ensuring product quality and compliance, maintaining AS9100/ISO9001 standards, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality processes and product excellence.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain and improve AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems and support external accreditations.
  • Conduct audits, review procedures, and drive compliance improvements.
  • Lead MRB, RCCA actions, and support NPI and failure investigations.
  • Ensure accurate product release documentation (Certificates of Conformance).
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Train apprentices and support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 

Experience and Skills

 

  • Minimum 3 years in aerospace quality engineering, ideally with auditing experience.
  • Proficient in AS9100, NADCAP standards, and aerospace specifications.
  • Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • HNC/HND qualified in engineering or related discipline.
