About the Role:
This position is ideal for applicants who are highly organised, vigilant, reliable, and possess excellent attention to detail. The ability to remain calm under pressure is crucial. The role is a casual contract, with working hours to be negotiated for each exam period. The main exam periods are in January, February, May, and June. The work will involve whole or part-day sessions, some starting as early as 8:00 AM and some finishing by 3:30 PM. This role offers flexibility, which is ideal for those with childcare commitments.
Exam invigilation is also a great stepping stone if you're considering a longer-term career in education, such as becoming a Teaching Assistant but lack prior school experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils during public and internal exams.
- Support students, including providing reading and writing assistance when necessary.
- Prepare exam rooms, distribute, and collect exam papers in line with JCQ regulations.
