Product Manager Job in Christchurch

Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a long standing client who are recruiting for a Product Manager to join their team in Christchurch. The successful Product Manager will benefit from a fun team, exciting projects, and a focus on employee wellbeing with their great benefits.

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for tracking projects from start to finish, managing the CPA and ensure the project is on track while liaising internally with the commercial and supply chain teams. Duties & Responsibilities of the Food Product Manager:

  • Support the foods team in all aspects of product development, from ideation, recipe development, production trials and through to launch
  • Build strong relationships with our manufacturing partners and retail customers
  • Ability to create clear briefs and communicate these efficiently with our suppliers
  • Speak & present with confidence on project status updates.
  • Ability to understand ingredient lists, tastes and flavours
  • Support with exceptional presentations for our customers.
  • Trend and Competitive shop analysis.
  • Day to day management of the Foods team critical paths

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience working in retail or managing projects. Someone who is keen to learn.
  • A willingness to learn and improve and have a 'hands on’ approach
  • Confident in communicating and developing relationships with internal and external sources
  • Strong time management and a proactive work ethic
