The purpose of this job

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead and oversee the manufacturing team in producing high-quality aerospace components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, optimising production efficiency, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Your responsibilities as a Manufacturing Supervisor will include:

  • Meet production goals – track and report
  • Monitor and control scheduled performance (KPI’s)
  • Proactively resolve delays and potential delays and escalate where necessary
  • Liaise with Planners over shortages, delivery dates and/or special requirements Ensure adequate capacity and versatility maintained to meet the plan requirements
  • Ensure the business complies with good practice and Health &
  • Maintain an up-to-date view of operations
  • Provide leadership support to resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot issues and problems and resolve
  • Proactively seek ideas and suggestions and implement corrective actions and improvements
  • Proactively lead the team and individuals
  • Lead individual performance in their day-to-day duties
  • Implement company people management processes

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will have:

  • Experience within production and manufacturing
  • Experience with people management
  • Competent with IT systems using Microsoft office
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ability to take ownership
  • Capable of forward planning and good time management
