If you’re a little bit obsessed with what’s trending, new patterns, fabrics, and colours, this Buyer role could be the position you’re looking for. In this role, the Buyer with be the driving force behind shaping future product lines within this category, creating vibrant collections that are on-trend, and that will stand out to customers.

This position would suit someone who has been exposed to the product development process. The most important part is that you can get behind these products, and project manage them from concept to shelf.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product concepts that will create new growth opportunities in your category, staying ahead of the curve.
  • Track and manage the critical paths of new product development, set deadlines and delegate tasks to your small team.
  • Manage the production of the required deliverables, planning and monitoring the project.
  • Review customer insights and trend analysis, using this to make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with the wider teams including creative design, technical and account managers, to ensure project viability.
  • Lead clear briefs and communicate across to the other buying teams across the world.
  • Contribute to category plans for the financial year with quarterly reviews.
    • Deliver exceptional presentations to customers alongside the account manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a product developer, product manager, buyer or similar
  • Able to track projects from beginning to end using a critical path
  • An interest in fashion and clothing trends, or a passion for textiles and licensing
  • Able to work with suppliers across the world
