Job Opportunity: Land and Site Buyer

Location: UK wide, based in Christchurch, but due to the nature of the role, hybrid and on-site working will also be necessary.

About the Role: Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic Land and Site Buyer to join their team. If you have a knack for sourcing prime land and sites, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Acquisition: Identify and secure land for residential development.
  • Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Feasibility Studies: Work with our clients property and finance teams to assess project viability.
  • Negotiation: Secure the best deals on land and site purchases.
  • Due Diligence: Oversee environmental assessments, zoning approvals, and title searches.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in the property sector (property development, estate agency, sales and lettings, caravan/residential park home/leisure sectors).
  • Associate or chartered member of RICS or similar is beneficial but not essential.
  • High energy, "can do" attitude, and a strong work ethic.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the Southwest/South Central UK.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of planning legislation and development processes.
  • Ability to conduct market research and feasibility assessments.
