Technical Manager Job in Christchurch
You have strong Health & Beauty or cosmetic formulation experience within product development and you enjoy bringing new ideas to the table. Salary & Details:
- Yearly bonus structure (based on company targets)

What you’ll be doing as Technical Manager:
- Working collaboratively with technical teams in UK and Asia to ensure all technical aspects of a project are completed in a timely manner, for example CPRSs, product performance testing, regulatory compliance, and legal checks etc.
- Preparing product specifications and quality contracts with customers and manufacturing suppliers for quality assurance.
- Single point of contact for customer technical managers.
- Checking product formulations, packaging and artwork for compliance with relevant regional legislation.
- Working closely with the internal product and commercial teams to ensure all technical requirements are applied during the NPD process and new launches.
- Working with the quality team to investigate and report on customer complaints and non-conformances.
- Attending conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows to keep on top of innovations and opportunities with new materials, production techniques or products.
Minimum Requirements:
- Cosmetic science background
- At least 2 years of experience working within a Technologist or Technical Manager position
- Happy to travel to the Christchurch office twice per week
- Understanding of regulations within the health and beauty sector
