Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher (QTS required) to join a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Christchurch on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons to students with SEMH needs.
- Plan and adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with a strong team of staff to support students' academic and personal development.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using a trauma-informed approach.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience working with SEMH students or in an alternative provision (preferred but not essential).
- Strong classroom management and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A compassionate and resilient approach to teaching.
