The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Build nurturing, trusting relationships with students.
  • Support student communication and engagement in class.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • English and Maths qualifications (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Experience working with young learners, particularly those with SEMH needs (KS2/3).
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills.
  • Ability to relate well to children and work collaboratively with a team.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in Makaton.
  • Knowledge of relevant education policies and the national curriculum.
