Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are an innovative alternative provision in Christchurch seeking a dedicated and inspiring Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team in January.

You will be responsible for teaching secondary age pupils across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages all students to thrive
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators and support staff
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and external professionals
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with children with special educational needs
• A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students in an alternative provision setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
