Land Registrar - Part/Flexi Time

Location: Bournemouth/Christchurch, UK

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Land Registrar to manage complex title matters for our client's family-owned estates. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong background in property law, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Registry Applications: Handle applications and disputes related to land registration.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research of property records to determine ownership history and legal status.
  • Boundary and Licensing Matters: Resolve boundary disputes and manage licensing issues.
  • Adverse Possession Claims: Contest adverse possession claims.
  • Seigneurial Franchises and Droits: Manage these unique property rights.
  • Highways and Marine Property: Address title matters related to highways and marine properties.
  • Restrictive Covenants: Oversee the management of restrictive covenants.
  • Estate Ownership Assurance: Conduct perambulations and ensure the integrity of estate ownership records.

What We're Looking For:

  • Robust research and analytical skills.
  • Profound understanding of property law.
  • Direct experience of working with legal and property records.
  • Previous experience in conducting title research or related work in the property industry.
  • Direct experience of property disputes and their resolution.
  • Direct experience of dealings with HM Land Registry.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with mapping software.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct when handling confidential or sensitive information.
