Location: Christchurch
Salary: 33,000 - 38,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 5:15 pm
1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional and well-equipped workshop with access to manufacturer training and career progression.

• Perform high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Handle routine maintenance tasks, including brakes, clutches, and suspension work.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

• A minimum of NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Repairs.
• Proven experience in a main dealer or independent garage.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• MOT License is a bonus but not essential.

• Competitive salary ranging from 33,000 to 38,000, plus bonus.
• Twenty-two days of annual leave, accrued at the rate of 1.83 calendar days per month, increasing with continued service after five and ten years.
• Additional holiday day off for your birthday.
• One free MOT per year, additional MOTs charged at 35 for friends and family.

• Technicians are allowed to make use of the workshop facilities outside of their working hours (guidelines to be followed).
