Laminator - Print Industry

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laminator to join our team in the print industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various hand and power tools. As a Laminator, you will be responsible for operating laminating machines, ensuring high-quality finishes on printed materials, and maintaining equipment to meet production standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate laminating machines to apply protective coatings to printed materials.
• Assemble and prepare materials for the laminating process, ensuring proper alignment and adherence.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laminating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic maths for measurements and calculations.
• Previous experience in fabrication or painting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Employment Type - Full time, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00 rotating on a weekly basis.

Pay: 15.00 p/h. up to 30.00 p/h overtime. paid breaks

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
