Field Service Engineers - Why you should apply:
Varied & interesting work: Split your time between travelling overseas troubleshooting customer issues (up to 30% of your time), providing remote support from the Pontypridd office (up to 50% of your time), and developing preventative maintenance, including training customers and documenting troubleshooting methods (up to 30% of your time)
See the world (well, some of it): Spend a maximum of 30% of your time travelling to assist customers, mainly to America but also Europe, North Africa, and East Asia. The company will provide generous travel and meal allowances, and you will receive time off in lieu for any time spent travelling outside of your working hours.

Field service engineer duties will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment.
- Helping to develop a preventative maintenance culture.
- Supporting customers in the reduction of downtime.
- Providing remote support to customers where needed.
- Creating product, troubleshooting, and maintenance guides to minimise customer downtime
- Travelling internationally to diagnose and fix issues.
- Collaborating with engineering and support teams to enhance overall company performance.
- Building strong relationships with customers and clients
To apply for the field service engineer role, you will need:
- A level three or above qualification in electrical engineering.
- The ability to fault find with electrical components such as circuits, resistors, capacitors, harnesses, and looms.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with a track record of reducing customer downtime.
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- A valid driving license
- The ability to travel internationally and qualify for the US ESTA Visa waiver program.
