Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Rugby
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 (reviewed after completion of 6 month probationary period)
Hours: 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday, 30 minute break
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will have experience in purchase ledger processes and be proficient in SAGE 50. You will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, processing payments, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices, matching to purchase orders, and reconciling statements
- Managing supplier queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
- Processing payment runs and ensuring timely payments to suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all transactions are compliant with company policies
- Assisting with reconciliations
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role
- Proficiency in SAGE 50
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
