They are looking to appoint a HLTA who shares the same vision, and promotes the school's core values.

The school are seeking to appoint an ambitious creative HLTA to work across the entire primary age range on a full-time basis. They will have enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and great attention to detail. Furthermore, they will have a passion for lifelong learning and be a strong role model for learners and staff.  The successful candidate will provide classroom cover in a PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) capacity,and liaise with class teachers to ensure the quality of teaching and learning is maintained.

TeacherActive are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:

• Meets Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification with relevant experience
• Works well as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and their own position within these
• Will have excellent Literacy and Numeracy skill and a sound understanding of teaching methods It provides an exciting and innovative learning environment
• Working knowledge and experience of implementing Curriculum for Wales and other relevant learning programmes/ strategies
• Will have a sound knowledge and experience of teaching phonics.
• Read Write Inc qualification (this is desirable but not essential)
• Can use ICT effectively to support learning
