Company Accountant required on a full time, permanent basis for a well-established Engineering company based in Cinderford Gloucester. The Financial Manager will be experienced within a similar role and will ideally have AAT level 4 and relevant experience within the engineering/manufacturing sector.
The Accountant will be required to produce management accounts, produce and monitor company budgets, costings and manage financial systems. This role offers up to 42,000 per annum, 23 days holiday and other benefits in the office-based position.
The Finance Manager will be reporting to the Managing Director.
Company Accountant Job Overview
- Producing management accounts (balance sheet, income statement, budget analysis and KPIs).
- Preparation and posting of journals entries.
- Preparation of month end Management accounts.
- Maintain and keep up to date the Costing of the products.
- Plan and Attend Stock Counts and Valuations thereof.
- Maintain the fixed assets register
- VAT returns
- Invoicing / statement reconciliations
Company Accountant Job Requirements
- AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of costing analysis
- Experience with Sage50.
Company Accountant Salary & Benefits
- 35,000 - 42,000 per annum
- 3% Employer Pension Contribution
