Contract Manager - Mechanical FM Projects

Location: London & South EastSalary: Up to £58,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a background in Mechanical Facilities Management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing contracts for mechanical services such as HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plumbing across multiple sites?

We are seeking a results-driven Contract Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of mechanical FM contracts across London and the South East. This role is critical in ensuring contract performance, financial efficiency, and client satisfaction while leading a skilled team of engineers and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract & Financial Management - Oversee contract compliance, monitor profit and loss performance, manage variations, and support credit control processes.
  • Team Leadership - Supervise and develop a team of engineers, ensuring KPIs and service delivery targets are met.
  • Client Relationship Management - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and contract retention.
  • Technical Oversight - Provide hands-on support and guidance on mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Health & Safety Compliance - Ensure all works adhere to health and safety legislation, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Resource Planning - Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and training to maintain operational efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record in managing FM contracts.
  • Proven experience in mechanical services (HVAC, heating, plumbing, ventilation).
  • Knowledge of PPM & reactive maintenance within FM environments.
  • Financial acumen - ability to manage budgets and drive contract profitability.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH qualification (desirable).
