LG Engineering Solutions are recruiting a HR/Health & Safety Administrator for a growing manufacturing business based in Cinderford, Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to progress with a company that can offer training and development including the chance to attain CIPD certification. The position also offers one day working from home and flexible hours.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Support in Recruitment and managing employee lifecycle
  • Maintaining records of employees on our BrightHR System
  • Liaising with training providers, employees and ensuring up to date certification
  • Ensure Health & Safety documentation is filled out and processedaccurately
  • Updating Skills Matrix at regular intervals
  • Supporting all HR related enquiries or requests and providing prompt, accurate and thorough response to inquiries and questions
  • Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, and ensuring the integrity of HR records and conduct
  • An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and flexible in approach
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • Good IT skills- including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail & strong organisation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within HR administration
  • Worked within an engineering or manufacturing environment previously
  • Experience of analysing, evaluating and improving HR processes
