This is an excellent opportunity to work for an lovely company in Cinderford. Our client is part of a global business but offer a family feel at their Cinderford site. Offering brilliant on the job training and a chance to gain many accreditation's from external training providers.

You will be working out of modern facilities with a record for high quality and thorough health and safety!

The position

You will be required to operate a range of bespoke machinery in a heavy plant environment.

Following a set production process, you will be trained to operate a range of machinery and equipment. Spending time across all sections to ensure you understand the whole plant process.

You will be required to operate FLT/VNA and sling/winch equipment on a daily basis, again full training will be provided.

There is a huge emphasis on Health and Safety, so you will need to be safety and quality lead in everything you do.

You will be working in small teams so teamwork, good communications skills are a must.

Job Requirements

Previous experience within a Manufacturing/Production environment, running a range of machinery.

Hold a FLT Counterbalance license.(desirable)

Health and safety mindset

Desirable

VNA License, Telescopic truck, sling or lifting qualifications.

Shift Patterns

Initial training for first two to three weeks will be conducted on a 8am to 4pm shift.

You will then move to a 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating shift for a couple of months

Finally moving to the full three shift pattern below on completion of training.

Rotating shift patterns - Monday to Friday

6am to 2pm - week 1

2pm to 10pm - week 2

10pm to 6am - week 3

Salary

Ranging from £27,500 to £37,000 as you complete training and move onto the shift patterns.
