A primary school we are currently working with in the heart of the forest need a compassionate, patient and empathetic individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, in particular those with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Physical Disabilities (PD).Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support with manual handling, care, changing and feeding.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each child's development.
- Engage in physically active tasks to support students' needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children and/or adults with special educational needs in the UK.
- Experience in manual handling, care, changing, and feeding.
- A proactive and resilient attitude.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
