This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing multi-branch accountancy practice in the region. After recent investment, the company is continuing to expand and offers a variety of opportunities across a number of locations. They're now seeking two accountants for their Cirencester and Malmesbury locations.
They fully support part-time and flexible working, and whilst the role will be mostly office based, they are open to some remote working after probation period has been completed.
The Role
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of annual accounts for small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Personal tax preparation and capital gains tax calculations.
- Production of management accounts.
- VAT returns
- Cash flows and projections
- Assist with payroll and P11D
- Support Partners and Directors as required.
- Train and support clients and other members of staff with accounting software when required, in particular Xero.
- Building client relationships.
Personal Specification
- Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice essential.
- Minimum AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience of one or more of these accounting packages is essential Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
- Proficient user of excel.
- Excellent communication skills, organised and able to work under pressure.
Terms
- Part time (min 3 days a week or equivalent hours) or full time.
- Office based in Cirencester. After probation, hybrid working is offered.
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
