Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with Raw Energy, an established business who deliver a range of projects in the renewable energy sector to recruit an Asset Manager for its Malmsebury location. With a current portfolio of circa 250m of projects based across UK, our client continues to outperform competitors and increase their presence in the market.

The strategically important Asset Manager role comes with a salary of up to 60,000 depending on experience, pension, hybrid working.

In this role you will act as the primary point of contact for all technical and commercial aspects of operations at the site in Malmesbury. This role involves monitoring, reporting, and managing the operational, technical, and financial performance of the asset to ensure optimal outcomes in line with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Asset Manager you will

  • Oversee all aspects of the performance of the gas to grid plant against targets and implement action where required.
  • Identify and manage key optimisation projects, delivering them on time and within budget.
  • Identify ways to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Ensure the asset complies with its planning, regulatory, HSE, environmental and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and present internal and external asset reporting on all aspects.
  • Managing relationships with co-investors, co-shareholders, contractual counterparties, supply chain partners, regulators, and other key stakeholders
  • Prepare financial statements, models, reports, and forecasts.
  • Share and disseminate best practices across portfolio.
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Previous experience within asset management, ideally within renewables or anaerobic digestion.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Practical approach to problem solving.
  • To confidently use the full Microsoft Office suit, especially Excel.
