ARCA Resourcing is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician who is passionate about contributing to pioneering aerospace projects. This role is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of the aerospace industry, engaging with innovative test rigs, flight test programs, and the development and maintenance of cutting-edge aircraft systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a crucial role in the assembly, testing, and launch of test rigs, supporting the execution of our flight test program, which may include temporary assignments abroad.
  • Contribute to the construction, examination, initiation, and ongoing upkeep of subsystems and complete aircraft systems, focusing on both low and high voltage electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Offer essential support for testing aircraft systems and activities related to flight testing.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse engineering teams. Flexibility in work hours or shifts may be required during peak operational times.
  • Report to the Production Leader, becoming an integral part of the Build & Maintenance team, enhancing our internal expertise, specialised knowledge, and capabilities.

Essential skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in structural production techniques, repairs, and working with composite materials.
  • A solid understanding of High Voltage (HV) electrical systems and proficiency in wiring harness construction, including crimping and soldering.
  • A formal qualification in aerospace engineering or an equivalent background. Applicants with a commercial aircraft apprenticeship or a military background are preferred.
  • Familiarity with aircraft documentation, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings is advantageous.
