We are currently seeking experienced Skilled Highways Operatives to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. These positions are available at multiple depots across the Gloucestershire region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general highways maintenance and repairs, including roadworks, repairs, and resurfacing.
- Operate a range of plant and machinery, as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in highways or road maintenance.
- Full valid driving licence (essential).
- Full HGV licence (essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must successfully complete a Drug and Alcohol (D&A) test prior to start.
Rate of Pay:
The advertised rate is a PAYE rate and is non-negotiable.
