Position: Supervisor (Highway Maintenance Team)
Location: Stroudwater Depot
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: 36,000 - 42,000 (PAYE, dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to join our Highway Maintenance Team at Stroudwater Depot. This temp-to-perm role involves overseeing multiple teams, ensuring all site activities are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for a range of duties including site supervision, site measurements, and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed to schedule and to high standards.
- Conduct site measurements and ensure accurate reporting.
- Produce CDM Construction Phase Plans and enforce safety procedures on-site.
- Order plant and materials daily, ensuring timely delivery and resource availability.
- Undertake site inspections and provide inductions for teams prior to the commencement of work.
- Assist in preparing weekly cost and value reports for project management.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Preferably experience in the highways or construction sector with a background in managing multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Solid knowledge of the construction industry, including health and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
