Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer

Location: Southeast, UK

This global manufacturer of high-precision automotive, agricultural, and aerospace parts is seeking an experiencedCNC Setter/Operator/Programmer to work on a rotating early/late shift to meet the demands of customers, Monday to Friday based in the Hertfordshire area. Offering a salary of £33,000 inclusive of shift and good overtime rates.

Job Description: As a CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and drawings
Program CNC machines using G-code (preferred) and other programming languages.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the production team to optimise machining processes.
Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer.
Knowledge of either MAZAK, DMG MORI, AMADA or MAG machinery
Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern.
