Location: Cirencester

Our client is seeking a Property Assistant to provide essential support across two departments. This role involves a variety of administrative, research, and client-facing tasks, helping ensure smooth departmental operations and timely delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting terms of engagement, scheduling inspections, and conducting property research (e.g., land registry, planning, flooding risks).
  • Accompany senior staff on property inspections and make detailed notes.
  • Aid in drafting valuation reports, appendices, and gathering comparables for valuations.
  • Liaise with clients, staff, and other advisors, and assist with land and farm sales, including viewings.
  • Manage appointments, meetings, and seminars via Outlook/Teams, and produce related documents (e.g., tenancy agreements, invoices).
  • Handle office tasks such as answering phones, photocopying, scanning, filing, and maintaining GDPR compliance.
  • Assist with timesheet management, fee drafting, and support IT needs through external providers.
  • Answer phones, assist with property viewings, support market appraisal preparation, and draft commission fees.
  • Provide general administrative support, including email management and contact database updates.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proactive and well-organised with strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and work independently when necessary
  • IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Team player with a flexible approach to tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Prior experience in administrative or support roles would be an advantage
