Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager

Location: Cirencester, Office-based

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This pivotal role involves responsibility for the finance department, including overseeing financial controls and the daily financial operations of our business. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in shaping and contributing to the future success of our organisation during an exciting period of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the finance function, including purchase and sales ledger, invoicing, budgeting/forecasting, credit control and cash flow financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll administration, compliance with PAYE, and pension requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for finance functions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, VAT, and pensions.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, providing financial insights, reviews and forecasts.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fully qualified with CIMA, ACCA, or similar, or part-qualified and studying towards final qualification.
  • Proven experience in leading a finance function and providing financial information/advice to finance and non-finance officers at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in a wide range of financial duties, including management accounts, budget preparation, and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in finance software (Xero), Excel, Word, online banking for business, and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Experience in improving systems and processes, including the integration of new systems.
